Store plans inch forth at Jesse's Landing site
Council members gave the go-ahead for the city staff to negotiate a deal that could see a gas station/convenience store on the site of the former Jesse's Landing restaurant.
The decision came after more than an hour of debate at Tuesday's council meeting over the idea of having a gas station/convenience store on that property.
Members decided that Wawa, a privately owned Pennsylvania chain, could build there if the company would sign an agreement that could specify the types of businesses Seminole would like to see on the rest of the site, at 10400 Park Blvd.
In the past, Seminole has wanted a hotel and an upscale restaurant there.
