The SheiKra roller coaster at Busch Gardens is getting a makeover. The popular thrill ride is closed for repainting until Feb. 16. The project will require 600 gallons of paint to cover the 165,000-square-foot surface area. About 40 painters will work around the clock to finish the job, which is expected to take 6,000 to 7,000 hours to complete. The red and blue coaster in the Stanleyville section of the park opened in May 2005, the first dive coaster in North America. It went floorless in 2007.
