Starbucks Corp. will close three more Tampa Bay area stores as the second phase of a plan to cut $500 million in expenses by closing 800 stores. The stores being closed are in Centro Ybor in Tampa, in Westfield Brandon mall and at 19348 Cortez Blvd. in Brooksville. The move will leave Ybor City Starbucks-free. But a second location remains open near Brooksville and three others surround the Brandon mall. When the latest round of closings is complete, there will be 432 Starbucks in Florida, 13 fewer than there were in 2007.
