Want a discount? Wear pajamas to Sunrise Sale

Bargains galore at July 17th's downtown Sunrise Sale

No telling what sort of bargains you'll find at the July 17 Sunrise Sale sponsored by the Downtown Business Association in St. Petersburg.

(In years past, we've found amazing deals on jewelry, housewares and fine linens, plus discounted gift cards for services including manicures, pedicures and massages.)

Wear your pajamas, or bring new PJs in children's sizes for the nonprofit Pajama Program, and you'll qualify for additional discounts and gifts from participating merchants.

This is the 35th annual version of the sale, which was created as an incentive for shoppers to patronize downtown businesses.

With snowbirds and some residents heading off to cooler climes, some retailers find summertime sales to be less robust.

The fun starts at 6:43 a.m. For information, call 821-6443, ext. 18.
