Small Business Development Center at University of South Florida
The center, which has satellite offices in St. Petersburg, Clearwater and Tampa, conducts more than 300 entrepreneurial programs a year. Its work includes free and low-cost counseling, workshops and seminars.
Hillsborough County Small Business Information Center
The center coordinates small business development and advocacy for small, minority and women owned businesses in Hillsborough County. It offers small business workshops and free business counseling and has small business resource material available.
Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce Small Business Center
The Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce has more than 2,000 members, 90 percent of which have 50 or fewer employees. It provides programs and services to encourage professional development.
St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce Business Start-Up Toolkit
The toolkit contains tips from preparing a business plan to financing your business.
Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce Business Assistance
The chamber offers free business counseling to assist in new business startup, business planning, marketing planning, business finance planning and strategic planning.
