State professional licensing investigators filed two complaints against a 36-year-old St. Petersburg general contractor, alleging he abandoned two construction jobs totalling more than $170,000.
Clyde Walls, of Walls 2 Walls Construction LLC, faces fines of up to $5,000 for each violation as well as suspension or termination of his contractor's license, probation and continued education requirements.
The two complaints, filed by the Department of Business and Progressional Regulation, are under review by the state Construction Industry Licensing Board.
Walls could not be reached for comment. Telephone numbers associated with Walls and his business were disconnected.
