TAMPA — Late-night Taco Bus runs will be a lot closer for University of South Florida students beginning June 7.
The popular restaurant will open its third Hillsborough County location at 2320 E Fletcher Ave., said Aviva Bowman, its marketing director.
It is moving into the space formerly occupied by Taqueria Monterrey, a sister restaurant that has downsized to a single location in Plant City.
The new Taco Bus will be open until 4 a.m. on weekends and until 10 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday, she said. This location will not offer breakfast.
Bowman said serving the university, hospitals and retirement community made the new location ideal. USF students and faculty can get a 10 percent discount with a valid university ID card.
