Neil has 15 years of commercial banking experience and has been with the Bank of Tampa for the past eight years. He previously served as office executive and senior vice president/commercial banking at the Bank of Tampa's Westshore office.

Lee H. Harwell has been named director of land development at Progressive Development Group Inc., Tampa. Harwell brings 30 years experience to Progressive Development Group and most recently was a senior project manage in the land development department at Wilson-Miller Inc., Tampa.

Nikki McKernan has been named recruiting director at MetLife Tampa Bay Financial, an office of MetLife. McKernan was a life marketing consultant at Ash Brokerage, Tampa.
Health care
St. Petersburg General Hospital announces its winners of the Hospital's 2010 Frist Humanitarian Award. The award recognizes one physician, one employee and one volunteer at each HCA-affiliated facility who demonstrate extraordinary concern for the welfare and happiness of patients and their community. Those recognized were Dr. Manu Nanda with the 2010 Physician Frist Humanitarian Award; Sheri Jenks with the 2010 Employee Frist Humanitarian Award; and Donna Mortensen with the 2010 Volunteer Frist Humanitarian Award. Nanda has been on the medical staff at St. Petersburg General more than 26 years. Jenks is residency coordinator and has been with the hospital since 2008; and Mortensen has been a volunteer since 2008 and has served as vice president of the Auxiliary for the past two years.

John S. Vento has been appointed to the Governing Committee of the American Bar Association's Forum on the Construction Industry. Vento is a shareholder and leads the construction law and government contracting practice group at Trenam Kemker, Tampa.
