In a deal called a merger of equals, private tech consulting firms Tribridge Consulting of Tampa and Navint Consulting of Rochester, N.Y., said they will combine into one privately held company to be called Tribridge. The companies, which specialize in advising businesses how best to use Microsoft software in their operations, said Tribridge's strong presence in the Southeast and Central regions and Navint's depth in the Northeast and Western regions of the country will create a complementary IT services firm with a national footprint. The merger was reportedly encouraged by Microsoft, and Tribridge's work force will increase from 180 to 320 after the deal.
