Adios, swine flu: Carnival cruises from Tampa head to Cozumel, Mexico

Two Carnival Cruise Lines ships sailing from Tampa will resume calls to a Mexican port in June.

The Carnival Inspiration will return Cozumel to its itinerary starting with the June 20 departure from Tampa. The Carnival Legend will resume calls to Cozumel starting with the cruise beginning June 21.

Carnival suspended the visits shortly after the Centers for Disease Control advised travelers against non-essential travel to Mexico on April 27 because of swine flu fears. The CDC lifted the advisory May 15.
