The Pier still holds an attraction for out-of-towners who want a last look (or first look), based on the license tags in the parking lots on a Wednesday afternoon.

Among the places represented were, in no particular order: Vermont, California, New York, Missouri, Louisiana, Georgia, Tennessee, Michigan, Oklahoma, Alabama and Quebec.
