Nonprofit

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) Suncoast Chapter, Tampa, announces new officers for 2011-2013: Kristen Keller, president; Kira Doyle, vice president; Regan Zayas, secretary; Jeff Chapman, treasurer; and Richard Spayde Jr., national board of representatives for LLS. Keller is Alcatel-Lucent program lead at Telmar Network Technology, Tampa; Doyle is an attorney in private practice in St. Petersburg; Zayas is manager of clinic systems and support, H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute, Tampa; Chapman is vice president of business development at United Services Group, Clearwater; and Spayde is vice president/investment officer/financial adviser at Wells Fargo Advisors, St. Petersburg.

Organizations

Daniel E. Buffington is the recipient of the American Pharmacists Association's Academy of Pharmacy Practice and Management 2010 Daniel B. Smith Practice Excellence Award. Buffington is a faculty member at the University of South Florida College of Medicine, Tampa, and is the medical director of clinical pharmacology services.

Technology

Doug Pace has been included in the Gulf Coast Business Review's 2010 40 Under 40 issue. Pace is executive vice president and chief operating officer at Bayshore Solutions, Tampa.
