Banking

Hancock Bank, Tampa, announ­ces that Brian Hendricks, Debbie Sheridan and Darren Wales have joined the bank. Hendricks has been named a senior vice president and middle-market banker. He brings 32 years of banking experience and will be based at Hancock's West Shore office. He most recently served as a senior vice president at Cadence Bank. Sheridan has been named a vice president and commercial banker. She will also be based at Hancock's West Shore location. She has served as a senior lender at Florida Bank and was a commercial bank manager at Pilot Bank. Wales has been named vice president and commercial banker. He'll be based at Hancock's downtown St. Petersburg office. Wales has 22 years of experience in the financial industry and was previously a senior relationship manager with Wells Fargo Bank.

Legal

Leonard "Lenny" S. Englander, founder of Englander Fischer LLP in St. Petersburg, has joined the All Children's Hospital Foundation board. Englander will sit on All Children's Institutional Grants Committee.

Erin Smith Aebel has been appointed to the board of directors at the St. Petersburg Museum of Fine Arts. A partner in the at Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick LLP, Tampa, Aebel is co-chairwoman of the Tampa health law department and is certified as a health law specialist by the Florida Bar. She was named Tampa Bay Business Journal 2014 Businesswoman of the Year — Legal Services. She earned her juris doctorate, cum laude, and her bachelor's of arts degree, magna cum laude, from Loyola University.

Seth P. Traub has been named a partner at Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick LLP, Tampa. Traub is a member of the bankruptcy and creditors rights and litigation practice groups. His principal areas of practice include business litigation and appellate representation, with a focus on creditors, trustees and business entities litigating disputes in bankruptcy court, as well as corporate and individual clients in general business, commercial landlord/tenant, and surety and construction disputes. He earned his juris doctorate, cum laude, from the University of Florida.

Geoff Young has been named senior counsel at the firm of Trenam Kemker, Tampa. Young will be based at Trenam Kemker's St. Petersburg office and will focus his practice on foreclosures, receiverships, loan redocumentation, loan sales, structuring and documenting loan workouts, resolution of bank operation issues, insurance defense, and defense and prosecution of lender liability cases. Young also has experience in commercial and bank litigation.

Senior living

Peg Macaluso has been named marketing director at Cypress Palms, an assisted living facility in Largo. Macaluso brings more than 15 years of experience in the health care industry to Cypress Palms, most recently serving as a director of client advocacy and program specialist for the Alzheimer's Association Florida Gulf Coast Chapter. She earned her bachelor's of arts degree in criminal justice with a minor in psychology from the University of Central Florida and has been involved in Better Living for Seniors and the Pinellas Seminole Women's Club.

Technology

Keith Pensabene has been named vice president of sales at Tampa-based Pilgrim Quality Solutions, a leading global provider of enterprise quality management software and services. Pensabene most recently was vice president of business development for Accenture Accelerated R&D Solutions.

Pablo Zurzolo has been appointed vice president, TDAgency, at Tech Data, Clearwater. Zurzolo rejoins Tech Data from ToDL.com, a privately held internet platform for designers and architects, where he has served as chief marketing officer. Zurzolo was previously with Tech Data from 1996 to 2004, where he led the marketing services organization for five years.
