John Troncoso has been named an investment advisory representative at Jaffe Tilchin Wealth Management, Tampa. Troncoso will be working with investment advisory clients, providing portfolio management and investment planning. His previous work experience includes Goldman Sachs and Glencore.

Legal

The firm Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, announces the addition of litigation attorney Stephanie A. Segalini as a partner in its Tampa office. Segalini joins Hinshaw from Jackson Lewis P.C., where she served as a principal in that firm's Orlando office. Prior to that she served for 11 years with Akerman LLP. Segalini focuses her practice on employee benefits litigation and class actions, including coverage, breach of fiduciary duty, statutory penalty, and benefit claims. Segalini earned her juris doctorate from University of Miami School of Law and her bachelor's of arts degree, with honors, from Emory University.

Nonprofit

Karenne P. Levy has been named president and chief executive office of MacDonald Training Center Inc. (MTC), Tampa. Levy comes to MTC from H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Center, where she was the leader of the Department of Patient Experience. Prior to Moffitt, Levy spent 14 years at Quest Inc., where she most recently served as the chief operating officer. She earned her master's degree in mental health counseling from Miami Institute of Psychology, her bachelor's of arts in psychology from the University of Western Ontario, and graduate professional certificate from Sacred Heart University School of Business. Levy begins her new position in August.

Lions Eye Institute for Transplantation & Research (LEITR), Tampa, has named three new members to the board of directors and voted to extend the contract of chief executive officer Jason Woody. New board members include: Brian Springer, Vice President of Research Administration and Associate Center Director at Moffitt Cancer Center; Mark Andrzejewski, former Chief Financial Officer at Laser Spine Institute; and Tampa City Council Member Mike Suarez. Their board terms begin immediately. Woody, who has been with LEITR for 26 years, signed a contract to keep him as the CEO through 2021. Woody already is among the longest tenured Tampa Bay nonprofit leaders.

Real estate

Tim Callahan has been named a principal at Avison Young, Tampa. Callahan will lead the firm's capital markets expansion in Central and North Florida and brings 28 years of commercial real estate experience with Cushman & Wakefield in Tampa, where he most recently served as a director. Callahan has specialized in the sale and leasing of industrial, office and triple-net-leased properties, as well as sale/leasebacks on behalf of institutional clients, public and private companies and individual investors. Callahan earned his bachelor of arts degree in economics from Stetson University.

Technology

Stephanie Fresonke has been named vice president of client partnerships at Marxent , an augmented reality and virtual reality company with an office in St. Petersburg. Fresonke comes to Marxent after spending 10 years at Sprint as the Southeast director of sales, strategic accounts. She has also held leadership roles at Nextel Communications, AT&T and McCaw Cellular.

Deena LaMarque Piquion has been named vice president, sales and marketing for Latin America Export business at Tech Data, Clearwater. Piquion will oversee the direction and execution of all sales and marketing functions for Tech Data's Miami-based Latin America Export operations, focusing on profitable revenue generation, business development, vendor relationships and team member development. Piquion has been with Tech Data since 2000 and during her tenure with the company, she has held positions responsibility within Tech Data's Latin America Export organization, most recently serving as director, marketing for the business since November. Piquion earned her bachelor's of science degree in political science and women's studies and her master's of science degree in foreign service from Georgetown University.
