The Channel District's Bamboozle Tea Lounge presents the art of Jonathan Perry in his solo show, Subtle Fantasy, beginning Thursday and remaining on display through Oct. 20.

The Tampa native's varied interests as a webcomic publisher and comic author, as well as his interests in the circus, sideshow arts and traveling, influence his art.

Those interests are evident in this exhibit, which will decorate the Bamboozle Tea Lounge with an array of beautiful fantasy-related images.

He creates his works using a multitude of mediums, including watercolor, ink, sculpting and digital.

In Perry's fantasy and mythologically related figures, one can envision connections to other worlds populated with dryads and nymphs.

His creations, both magical and subtly sensual, bring joy and beauty to the eyes of the viewer.

Bamboozle Tea Lounge is at 109 N 12th St. The menu includes fresh fruit smoothies, Pho soups, spring rolls and other Southeast Asian cuisine. Coffee, a variety of teas, wine and beer are also available.

The lounge is open 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays.
