Tampa Bay area personnel appointments, promotions and announcements

Accounting

Jeff Goolsby has been named a shareholder at Moore Stephens Lovelace PA, Tampa. Goolsby is a member of the firm's senior housing and health care practice groups and the firm's audit and accounting team.

Consulting

Accenture, Tampa, announces that Brian Botwinski and Tim Imlah have been promoted from senior managers to senior executives. Botwinski joined Accenture in 1997 and is a member of the leadership team within Accenture's global chemical and natural resources practice. Imlah is a member of Accenture's smart grid practice and has more than 17 years of systems and business integration experience.

Credit unions

Jeff Bentley has been named senior vice president and chief lending officer at Achieva Credit Union, Clearwater. Bentley brings more than 25 years of financial services experience to Achieva Credit Union and has served as conservatorship chief lending officer of the Texans Credit Union and was the conservatorship chief executive officer of Key West Federal Credit Union.

Direct marketing

Lisa Sullivan has been named vice president of marketing at Valpak Direct Marketing Systems Inc., Largo. Sullivan has served as the vice president of marketing for the past seven years at the Austin American-Statesman.

Financial

Carl Sivak has been named an account executive at LM Funding LLC, Tampa. Sivak was vice president and regional director for First National Bank/Community Associations Banc and has held numerous senior level positions in sales, training and project development.

Gregory Wilder has been named executive director and senior private banker at J.P. Morgan Private Wealth Management, Tampa. Wilder was the founder and national and Southeast practice leader of Grant Thornton's Private Wealth Services.

Health care

Mary Capo has been named special projects coordinator at Florida Cancer Affiliates, Brooksville. For the past 10 years, Capo has served as the office manager at Florida Cancer Institute-New Hope.

Dr. Tony Murray has joined Farkas Chiropractic Clinic, St. Petersburg. Murray previously practiced at a speciality chiropractic neurology clinic in the Netherlands and completed his postgraduate studies in chiropractic neurology at the Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies.

Insurance

Sue Curley is agency services manager for Southwest Florida at Stewart Title. Curley was agency manager of West Florida at Fidelity National Title Insurance Co., Agency division, where she was assigned to a six-county territory in West Florida.

Legal

Brian C. Willis has been named an associate at Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick LLP, Tampa. Willis joins the litigation department and earned his juris doctorate from George Washington University. He previously practiced at the Tampa Bay office of Becker & Poliakoff.

Nonprofit

Noelle Anderson has joined the board of directors for Forward Thinking Initiatives, a nonprofit teaching entrepreneurship, innovation and creative thinking for teens. Anderson is principal and president of True Blue Communications, Tampa.

Sports

Richard Reeves has been named director of corporate partnerships with the Tampa Bay Rays. Reeves spent 26 years at the St. Petersburg Times, now the Tampa Bay Times, and departed as the vice president of marketing and advertising in 2008. He went on to become the advertising director of the Savannah Morning News in 2009 and 2010 and held the same title at the Tallahassee Democrat in 2011.

Accounting

CBIZ Kirkland, Russ, Murphy & Tapp, Clearwater announces these appointments. Kimberly First, assurance associate, earned her bachelor's of science degree in accounting from the University of South Florida; Samantha Taylor, assurance senior associate, was an experienced associated at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP; Linden Arakawa, assurance associate, earned his bachelor's of arts degree in accounting from Saint Leo University; Matthew Hursey, assurance intern, earned his bachelor's of arts degree in accounting from the University of South Florida; Ruben Cruz, assurance intern, earned a bachelor's of science degree from the University of South Florida; Rolando Lopez, assurance intern, earned his bachelor's of science degree in accounting from the University of Tampa; and Ben Gasparini, Dane White and Corbyn Galloway, are assurance interns, and are currently pursuing bachelor's of science degrees in accounting from the University of South Florida

Insurance

Kelly Newton has been named director of human resources at Bouchard Insurance, Clearwater. Newton has eight years of experience in the insurance industry and 14 years experience in human resource. She most previously was director of human resources at Ballast Point Management Services, Tampa.

Nonprofit

Randy Bly has been named sales, marketing and public relations coordinator for the Tampa Area Safety Council, Tampa. Bly was director of community relations at AAA Auto Club South.
