Two more Tampa Bay job fairs planned

January appears to be job fair month in Tampa Bay.

Following a Capital One job fair in Tampa earlier this week, two more events are scheduled over the next week.

On Thursday, the Tampa Bay Times is co-ordinating the Tampa Bay Job & Career Fair at the Coliseum in downtown St. Petersburg. More than 60 local employers are expected to be recruiting.

Doors open at 10 a.m., and the fair runs until 3 p.m. There will be free parking on site and free admission.

On Thursday, Jan. 19, RecruitMilitary is organizing a job fair geared toward veterans and military family members. The fair will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Tampa.

It's one of about 20 fairs scheduled so far this year across the country by Cincinnati-based RecruitMilitary.
