Classes resume at Largo's Morgan Fitzgerald Middle after bomb threat

Students at Morgan Fitzgerald Middle School in Largo returned to school Wednesday at 10:54 a.m. after being evacuated due to a bomb threat.

The threat was made at 8:42 a.m. from a pay phone near another middle school, police said. Police would not identify the location of the pay phone. They said the caller sounded like a young male.

Police searched the school, found nothing and allowed everyone to return so classes could resume.

Students were evacuated to the Pinellas Park High School football stadium across the street.
