Pasco manager who kept customers' refunds gets probation

NEW PORT RICHEY — A former car dealership manager accused of pocketing almost $1,400 worth of customer refund checks pleaded no contest in court Thursday and was sentenced to probation.

Keith Arthur Koslow, 47, took 14 checks that were supposed to go to customers of JC Automax who had overpaid on their vehicle registration, the Pasco County Sheriff's Office said.

The thefts happened from October 2009 to February involving the dealership on U.S. 41 in Land O'Lakes, the report said. Koslow was arrested in March.

Koslow of 5642 Sheer Bliss Loop in Land O'Lakes pleaded no contest to a scheme to defraud charge and must serve 24 months of probation.
