LARGO — A jury found a bouncer charged with choking a bar patron to death not guilty of manslaughter on Thursday.
Paul Clarence Stucker, 46, was arrested in December 2013 in connection to David McTamney's death. According to police at the time, McTamney was asked to leave the Brown Boxer Pub & Grille at 483 Mandalay Ave. in Clearwater for acting "intoxicated and disorderly." Stucker, working as a bouncer, escorted him out of the business and placed McTamney in a choke hold, police said.
An autopsy revealed that McTamney, 51, died of asphyxiation.
