Riverview meth trafficker gets 20 years in federal prison

Alfredo Coronado, 58, was found guilty Sept. 11 after jurors heard evidence that from early 2011 to Oct. 18, 2011, Coronado sold large amounts of meth from his Riverview home to low-level dealers. Those dealers then sold the drug in Lakeland.

Federal prosecutors said Coronado worked for his nephew, Henry Corona, who has previously pleaded guilty to charges that he led the Riverview meth ring and was sentenced to 20 years in prison earlier this year.
