TAMPA — A Tampa man faces federal charges after authorities say he schemed with others from 2010 to 2013 to collect $637,622 in fraudulent tax refunds using stolen identities.

Cedric B. Clark, 34, set up a post office box and multiple bank accounts, calling them "Ced's Tax Services" and "Ced's Services," and used them to receive the illegitimate refunds, according to a federal indictment filed on Wednesday.

He was seen removing items from the box, the court paper states, and the stolen funds were moved through his accounts.
