Florida Bar suspends lawyer for 3 years

A Pasco lawyer was suspended for three years after the Florida Bar said he failed to do work on behalf of clients and lied about it.

According to the Bar, Henry T. Sorenson II of Land O' Lakes didn't file an appeal for his clients when they asked him to, but later told them he did. He also sent an email saying they won the appeal, and he attached a fake opinion from the court saying so.

Sorenson was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1997.
