Florida Bar suspends two Pinellas lawyers

The Florida Bar announced Wednesday that it has disciplined two Pinellas County attorneys.

Elihu Berman of Clearwater was suspended for 10 days after he "compensated himself excessively" as personal representative of a trust and did not repay a client loan, the bar said.

Scott Alan Hunter of St. Petersburg was suspended for 91 days and will be placed on probation by the bar for three years. He was found guilty of DUI, discharging a firearm in public and driving while license canceled, suspended or revoked, which amounted to "a pattern of misconduct," the bar said.

Berman and Hunter could not be reached for comment
