Downtown Dunedin restaurant to hold fundraising event for Orlando victims

Times Staff

DUNEDIN — Downtown restaurant The Livingroom will hold a fundraising event Monday to support victims of the Orlando shooting at Pulse nightclub last weekend.

The event will run from 6-8:30 p.m. at 487 Main St. The restaurant plans to donate 15 percent of its sales from the night to Equality Florida, the state's largest LGBT rights group.

Equality representatives will be there with information about how to donate to the official Pulse Victims Fund GoFundMe account. There will be a moment of silence for victims and their families and rainbow-colored luminaries lit at sunset.
