Educator, doctor, banker named to Pasco-Hernando Community College Board of Trustees

TALLAHASSEE — Gov. Charlie Crist has announced three appointments to the Board of Trustees for Pasco-Hernando Community College.

John L. DiRienzo Jr., 59, of Spring Hill is an adjunct faculty member at Saint Leo University. He is a retired school principal with a master's degree in special education and additional certification in educational leadership.

DiRienzo is also president of the board of directors for the Arc Nature Coast in Hernando County. DiRienzo succeeds John Church of Hernando County.

Dr. Rao Musunuru, 58, of New Port Richey is a nationally renowned cardiologist, practicing at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point since 1981. Over the years, he has served as chief of medicine, chief of staff, and chairman of the Board of Trustees for the hospital. Musunuru has served on the college board since April 1999, with two previous terms as board chairman.

Deborah Kilgore, 59, of Brooksville served as vice president of private banking for SunTrust Bank. She retired in 2005 after a 22-year career. Kilgore has served on the PHCC board since December 2005.

Board terms for all three members run from July 15, 2009, to May 31, 2013.
