Out with the old at UT

JAMES BORCHUCK | Times

Workers from Crossroads Construction demolish a nearly 30-year-old residence hall on the University of Tampa campus Friday and will break ground immediately on a new residence hall in its place. Built in 1986, the southern wing of ResCom, which faces N A Street and consists of three, three-story wings housing 235 students, will be demolished by today, according to construction officials. The new residence hall will be at least seven floors and is scheduled to be completed by the end of December or early January.
