Eckerd College

The Festival of Hope is the culmination of the Eckerd College Senior Class' Quest for Meaning Project. In the process of searching for their "Quest," the senior class participates in service learning projects throughout the Tampa Bay community during the fall semester. After their community service projects are complete, they present their projects and reflections to the Eckerd community. 1 to 3 p.m. today at Hough Quad.

• Organist Nathan Laube will perform on the Heissler pipe organ at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Music Center. Laube is a student of Alan Morrison at the Curtis Institute in Philadelphia and performs internationally. General admission is $5.

• The St. Petersburg College Chorus and Madrigalians, the Christ Church Chancel Choir, and the Handbell Ensemble will perform traditional examples from the Christmas repertoire, and a new choral work in its premiere performance, Rejoice in the Lord Always, by Vernon Taranto Jr., at 3 p.m. Sunday at Christ United Methodist Church, 467 First Ave. N. Free.

• The St. Petersburg College Orchestra will play its fall concert in the St. Petersburg Gibbs/Campus Music Center Monday at 7:30 p.m. The program will include works such as the Francesco Geminiani Concerto Grosso in C major (after Corelli, op. 5, no. 12), and Franz Schubert's Symphony No. 5 in B-flat major. Free.
