Advanced placement tests resume at Freedom High School, despite swine flu closure

TAMPA — Students returning to Freedom High today are going directly back to the advanced placement grindstone, despite having missed three days of class this week due to a likely swine flu case at the school.

While today's advanced placement tests in English literature and foreign languages will be rescheduled, all others — including Friday's in U.S. and European history, and a full slate of exams next week — are on. Tests scheduled for today, as well as those missed because of the flu scare, will be made up during the weeks of May 20 and 27. "Testing will resume as scheduled Friday, May 8," reported the school's Web site. "Good luck students!"
