Central High's JROTC successfully defends Wild Cat championship

BROOKSVILLE — Central High School's JROTC recently competed at the Winter Park Extreme Wild Cat Challenge and successfully defended its title as the Overall Champion for the seventh straight year.

Eighteen schools from across Florida competed.

In the coming weeks, the school's cadets will participate in the sport of orienteering in the Withlacoochee State Forest, compete in the Mitchell Mustang Stampede Field/Drill Meet, and host 24 schools in the Annual Iron Bear Challenge Competition.
