Theater/music/art

• The Zephyrhills High Band Officers invite all alumni band and auxiliary members to partake in the 2014 homecoming game today. There will be a section reserved for alumni band members who will play with band students from Centennial and Stewart Middle School and Zephyrhills High. Bring your own instrument and meet at 6 p.m. in the band room. Admission is free. For information, email Russell Schmidt at rschmidt@pasco.k12.fl.us.

The Tarpon Springs Outdoor Music Festival for marching bands will be Saturday at Tarpon Springs High, 1141 Gulf Road. Admission is $15 for adults, $8 for students 13 and older, $5 for children 12 and younger. Parking is free. For information, go to tarponspringsband.com/festival/index.htm.

Library notes

Pumpkin-Palooza, 2 p.m. Saturday at the South Holiday Library, 4649 Mile Stretch Drive. Decorate your own pumpkin and help design the library's pumpkin to put on display. Grades K-5. For information about other Pasco County library events, go to pascolibraries.org.

• Haunted House, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the New Port Richey Public Library, 5939 Main St. For all ages. (There will be a less scary route for the littlest ones.) Costumes are welcome. • The Department of Mathematics and Science at Saint Leo University invites middle school and high school students to the free Math Circles outreach program from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursdays in Lewis Hall, Room 101. The weekly event includes fun activities to help students develop an enthusiasm for mathematics. Lewis Hall is the three-story academic building to the right, just inside the entrance to campus. College bound

•Nov. 6 is the deadline to register for the SAT to be administered on Dec. 6. Late registration (with fees) is Nov. 24. Go to sat.collegeboard.org. Nov. 7 is the registration deadline for the ACT to be administered on Dec. 13. Late registration, with fee, is Nov. 21. Go to actstudent.org.

• The Sydney Has a Sister scholarship foundation is hosting a Golf 4-Man Scramble fundraiser at noon Nov. 8 at Northdale Golf Club, 4417 Northdale Blvd., Tampa. Golfers and hole sponsors are needed.
