Alexis Vlk, a third-grade teacher at Pizzo Elementary School in Tampa, looks for books for the new school year Wednesday at the Teaching Tools Store. The store, supported by the Hillsborough Education Foundation, serves 130 Title I schools, those with large concentrations of low-income students that receive supplemental federal funding. Hillsborough students will head to class for the 2014-15 year on Tuesday.
