Girls' summer camps focus on robotics

The Florida Advanced Technological Education Center, or FLATE, and the National Science Foundation Center of Excellence in Manufacturing have joined with the Suncoast Credit Union Foundation to offer scholarships for FLATE's "Girls Only" robotics camps, which began this week. In addition to the robotics camp, FLATE is offering additional camps for middle and high school students. Cost for each weeklong camp is $175. Space is still open for a few camps in July.
