QUOTE: Berson said social media has helped us because the "collective positive energy of a group empowers an individual."

CLASS ACCOMPLISHMENT: Together, the grads contributed more than 25,000 service hours.

FEELING HOT: Even though the air conditioning was on at Expo Hall, graduates fanned themselves throughout the ceremony using their name cards, and audience members did the same with their programs.

HA-HA MOMENT: Heidenberg announced that his grandparents had given him $100 for graduation, prompting a single loud whoop from the corner of the bleachers, and a big laugh from the crowd.
