HITV HOLIDAY PROGRAMMING: Hernando Instructional Television — Channel 614 on Bright House Networks — is offering holiday programming, including school concerts, children's art and school Christmas programs, through Jan. 15. Check the school district's website, hernandoschools.org, for schedules.

• The school will host an informational meeting regarding elective courses at 6 p.m. Jan. 23 in the auditorium for parents and guardians and incoming ninth-grade students. • The school's Automotive Technology Department thanked Flammer Ford and Bobby Triola, Beef O'Brady's on Horse Lake Road and the Sunshine State Muscle Car Club for their support, including preparation for the 2011 Ford/AAA Auto Skills Competition, where Tyler Yohn and Cody Hasson placed sixth in the state.

PASCO-HERNANDO COMMUNITY COLLEGE: A 10-week training program for newly promoted and experienced supervisors will be offered beginning Jan. 20 at PHCC's Spring Hill Campus, 450 Beverly Court.
