Indian Rocks Christian School wins cafeteria makeover

LARGO — Indian Rocks Christian School was one of three national winners of a $30,000 school cafeteria makeover in Uncle Ben's (the rice company) contest: Ben's Beginners Cooking Contest.

The school's superintendent Walter Weller will be flown to New York next week to represent the school during a filming of the Rachael Ray Show, scheduled to air on Oct. 28.

Ten students at the school had submitted videos of themselves cooking with their families and talking about healthy eating in the school's bid to win the contest, which had almost 1,000 video entries.

The three schools which generated the greatest number of entries won.
