Students at Curtis Fundamental Elementary School in Dunedin took part in the Great American Teach-In on Wednesday. Held in honor of American Education Week, students were treated to visits from attorneys, emergency medical personnel, the bomb squad, and others who shared their careers and passions. This year's highlight was the helicopter, which landed on a field next to the school's basketball courts. Lt. Cmdr. Joe Boyes, a C-130 pilot who coordinated the arrival from the ground, said that he felt fortunate to be a part of the presentation.
