How would you improve your school or education in general? I would change the fact that few students get to enjoy the small class sizes that I have been privileged to have.
Any sage advice for the up and coming? Be yourself. Don't live up to anyone's expectations but your own. As Oscar Wilde said, "Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation."
