New principals

New principals in north Tampa

Three northern Hillsborough campuses got new leaders Tuesday. School Board members approved the following appointments:

• Brent McBrien from Webb Middle to Davidsen Middle in Westchase. McBrien replaces Michael Miranda, who moved to Progress Village Middle Magnet.

• George Fekete from Hillsborough High to Gaither High in Northdale. Fekete replaces Brenda Grasso, who will open the new Steinbrenner High in Lutz.

• Victor Fernandez from Pierce Middle to Leto High in the Pinecrest-West Park area. Fernandez replaces Dave Brown, who will open Strawberry Crest High in Dover.
