• The artwork of students from Bishop Larkin Catholic School will be on exhibit through April at the Downtown New Port Richey Art Gallery, 6231 Grand Blvd.

The Pasco County School District food and nutrition department will host a Community Health Fair & 5K run/walk on Saturday at Sunlake High School, 3023 Sunlake Blvd., Land O'Lakes. The 5K starts at 7:30 a.m. followed by a fun run at 8:30 a.m. The health fair will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Community agencies will provide information about local programs available to families. There will also be door prizes. The fun run is free. Register for the 5K run/walk online at www.pasco.k12.fl.us/nutrition/. Proceeds from the 5K will be used to award scholarships to Pasco County students who plan to continue their education in nutrition or health care fields.

• Saint Leo University's Adult Education Center will host information sessions for those interested in its elementary and middle grades education degree programs. Sessions will be at 2 and 6 p.m. Monday at the Pasco-Hernando State College Porter Campus, 2727 Mansfield Blvd., Wesley Chapel. Attendees will have an opportunity to meet with an admissions counselor to discuss areas of interest, including bachelor's degrees programs that are specially designed for adult learners. Grant information also will be available.

• Fred K. Marchman Technical College is now a member of the National Technical Honor Society. The facility received its official charter in early March. The school offers training in automotive service, commercial art, commercial food, computer systems and IT, cosmetology, digital cinema production, electricity, HVAC and marine service technology. Students also can take high school technical education courses and adult courses, and can participate in the early childhood apprenticeship and the patient care technician programs. Additional programs include Cyesis for pregnant teens, teen parents, and their children, and FAPE (Free Appropriate Public Education) 22 for older students with disabilities.
