Performing arts
• Feb. 3 is the deadline to enter Heritage Arts' Spotlight on Talent regional performing arts competition. Applications are available online, at schools, music and dance studios, and chambers of commerce. Auditions will be Feb. 16. Final show will be March 26 at the Center for the Arts at Wesley Chapel High. Participants are eligible for $2,000 in trophies, ribbons and cash prizes. Performances can be any style of piano, vocal and instrumental music, all types of dance or acrobatics, solos or groups. Community sponsors are needed.
