Pinellas County School Board members have rescheduled their discussion of the superintendent's job performance to Thursday, June 23, at 9 a.m.
Board chairwoman Carol Cook said the change was made to accommodate the schedules of outside facilitators she hopes will help guide what could be a difficult discussion between board members and Superintendent Julie Janssen.
Cook said she has asked state Sen. Bill Montford of the Florida Association of District School Superintendents and Wayne Blanton of the Florida School Boards Association to assist with the discussion.
The meeting will take place in room B203 of the district administration building, 301 Fourth St. SW Largo. Though public, the meeting is expected to be a workshop format, which means no public comment will be permitted and no votes taken.
