Pinellas enters 2017-18 with more than two dozen new principals

Elementary schools

Bay Vista Fundamental: Keila Victor, 42, was most recently an assistant principal at Madeira Beach Fundamental. She has worked for the Pinellas school district since 1998.

Campbell Park: Kathleen S. Young-Parker, 45, was most recently the former principal of Cypress Woods Elementary. She began working in the Pinellas school district in 1995.

Curtis Fundamental: Richard F. Knight, 45, has worked in the Pinellas school district since 1998. He most recently served as an assistant principal at Sawgrass Lake Elementary.

Cypress Woods: Kimberly E. Hill, 43, comes to Cypress Woods as the former principal of Leila Davis Elementary. She has worked in the Pinellas school district since 1996.

Lakewood: Daphne Miles, 47, transferred to Lakewood as the former principal of Sunset Hills Elementary. She began working in the Pinellas school district in 1993.

Leila Davis: William D. Durst, 49, was promoted from assistant principal at Leila Davis to principal. He launched his career in the Pinellas school district in 1992.

Pasadena Fundamental: Donita O. Moody, 45, is the former principal of Westgate Elementary. She has served as an elementary school teacher and assistant principal.

Sandy Lane: Kristina Bauman, 40, has worked in the district since 2000, and is was principal of Bay Vista Fundamental Elementary.

Sunset Hills: Johnnie Crawford, 48, transferred to Sunset Hills as the former principal of Lakewood Elementary. He has worked in the school district since 1998.

Westgate: Bonita S. Paquette, 54, began working in the Pinellas school district in 1986. Her last post was as an assistant principal at Skyview Elementary.

Middle schools

Clearwater Intermediate: Tonya S. Mitchell, 44, has worked in the Pinellas school district since 2007, most recently as the assistant principal of Azalea Middle.

Dunedin Highland: Michael J. Vasallo, 40, began working for the Pinellas school district in 1995. He was an assistant principal at Gibbs High.

John Hopkins: Dallas Jackson, 49, most recently served as an assistant principal at Midtown Academy. He has been an educator since 2003.

Meadowlawn: Ursula W. Parris, 49, comes to Meadowlawn as a former assistant principal of Seminole High. She has been an educator since 1994.

Morgan Fitzgerald Middle: Anthony Francois, 48, has worked in the school district since 2010. His most recent post was as an assistant principal at John Hopkins Middle School.

Oak Grove: Barry Brown, 47, comes to Oak Grove as the former principal of John Hopkins Middle. He has worked for the Pinellas school district since 1995.

Palm Harbor Middle: Mary M. Athanson, 45, was promoted from assistant principal of Osceola Middle to principal of Palm Harbor Middle. She has worked in the Pinellas school district since 2006.

Safety Harbor Middle: Carrie L. Armstrong, 37, comes to Safety Harbor Middle from North Carolina, where she was a principal. She began her educational career in 2002 and previously served as principal of Seventy-Fourth Street Elementary.

High schools

Bayside High: Dawn Coffin, 54, is the former principal of Oak Grove Middle. She began her educational career in Pinellas in 1988.

Career Academies of Seminole: Martha B. Giancola, 59, is an apprenticeships and work-based learning specialist.

Northeast High: Michael J. Hernandez, 42, was promoted from assistant principal at Northeast High to principal. He has worked in the Pinellas school district since 2010.

St. Petersburg High: Darlene K. Lebo, 48, was promoted from assistant principal at St. Petersburg High to principal. She has worked in the Pinellas school district since 1994.

Special Education

Extended Transition: Jacquelene Douglas, 57, is the former principal of Sanders Exceptional. She has served as an assistant principal and as a teacher in traditional and special education schools.

Paul B. Stephens ESE Center: Deborah L. Thornton, 50, previously served as an exceptional student education specialist for middle school curriculum. She began her career in Pinellas in 1991.

Sanders Exceptional: Heidi E. D'Ambrosio, 47, has worked for the Pinellas school district since 2004. She comes to Sanders as the former assistant principal of Calvin Hunsinger School.
