PALM HARBOR — An accident involving a Pinellas County school bus Tuesday sent two students from Palm Harbor University High to a nearby hospital.

Daniela Texidor, 16, from Clearwater, was traveling south on 15th Street North around 2 p.m. as a school bus driven by Linda Santo, 75, of Holiday, was heading east on Nebraska Avenue, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report. The report said Texidor's 2007 Audi A4 stopped at a stop sign but then continued into the intersection, striking the left side of the school bus.

Two students aboard the bus were sent to Mease Countryside Hospital with minor injuries.

Texidor was ticketed for running the stop sign.
