Kindergarten roundups show parents the ropes
BROOKSVILLE — Hernando County schools have set the following dates for kindergarten roundups.
Students must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1 of the school year to enroll in kindergarten.
Each parent needs to bring: the child's birth certificate; proof of a physical completed by a licensed physician dated no later than August of the previous school year; immunization record; proof of residency (can be in the form of a rent receipt, home contract or utility bill in the name of a parent or guardian).
Brooksville Elementary: 4-6 p.m., May 12 and 13.
Deltona Elementary: 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and 4-6 p.m., May 18.
Eastside Elementary: 4-6 p.m., April 27.
Explorer K8: 5-7:30 p.m., May 11.
J.D. Floyd Elementary: 6-7 p.m. May 6.
Moton Elementary: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4-6 p.m., May 11.
Pine Grove Elementary: 5-7 p.m., May 5; 9-11 a.m., May 6.
Spring Hill Elementary: 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m., April 28.
Suncoast Elementary: 4 and 6 p.m., April 20 and 22.
Westside Elementary: 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 5-7 p.m., May 6.
