Future school and why: University of Miami. It has always been my dream college to go to.

Ideal career: Aerospace engineer.

Most influential or best teacher: Social studies teacher Mr. Tim Newman.

Clubs/extracurricular activities: Varsity soccer, track and cross country, club soccer, National Honor Society, History Honor Society, SPLASH Club, Future Business Leaders of America, Interact Club.

How would you improve your school or education in general? Transition to a more technologically oriented school system to make learning more efficient and interesting.

How has the state of the economy impacted your education or your plans for the future? Every year the Bright Futures scholarship program gets cut more and more, which adds to the difficulty of choosing a college and planning your future.

Sage advice for the up and coming: Don't stress out. Live your life and try to get through each day.

Name one thing you wish you did in high school: Won a district championship with my soccer team.

Future school and why: University of Florida — mostly for its good reputation.

Ideal career: Mechanical engineer.

Most influential or best teacher: Math teacher Mr. Mark Colen.

How would you improve your school or education in general? Start the school day a little later so we can actually come in rested.

How has the state of the economy impacted your education or your plans for the future? I wanted to go to an out-of-state college, but there just wasn't enough money.

Sage advice for the up and coming: Don't just memorize the answers; know how to come up with them.

Name one thing you wish you did in high school: Gone to Homecoming.

    It didn't end up being a touchdown, but one of the Bucs' biggest hustle plays in Thursday's win over Jacksonville saw receiver Adam Humphries scoop up a loose ball just before halftime, after what looked like an incompletion but was correctly ruled a Jameis Winston fumble.
