Elementary school

Breakfast: $1.25

Lunch: $2

Middle and high school

Breakfast: $1.40

Lunch: $2.50/$3

Reduced-price

Breakfast: 30 cents

Lunch: 40 cents

How to apply

The District School Board of Pasco County is accepting applications for free and reduced-price meals for the 2012-13 school year. The National School Lunch Act states that households that are below the Federal Income Eligibility Guidelines may qualify for free or reduced-priced meal benefits. Households MUST complete a new free and reduced-price meal application for the upcoming school year.

Families can apply online by visiting the Food and Nutrition Services Department website at www.pasco.k12.fl.us/nutrition/free_reduced; or applications will be available from any Pasco County school cafeteria or administration office, at student orientation and throughout the school year.

  3. New Safety Harbor post office will be on McMullen-Booth Road

    SAFETY HARBOR — Although a move-in date is months away, representatives for the U.S. Postal Service recently signed the lease for the city's new post office.

    In June of next year a new post office will open at the site of a former Fifth Third Bank branch at 1703 N  McMullen Booth Road, Safety Harbor.

    ST. PETERSBURG — After selling the Sirata Beach Resort and Conference in February, Nicklaus of Florida, Inc., has purchased two Tampa Bay shopping centers to diversify the firm's portfolio in the area. Colliers International, representing the sellers, announced the transaction this week.
