Tampa school lunch offerings, Jan. 11-15

Elementary breakfast

Monday: French toast sticks, Cuban cheese toast, fruit and yogurt parfait.

Tuesday: Cinnamon roll, ham and cheese breakfast pizza, blueberry muffin.

Wednesday: Chicken biscuit, buttermilk biscuit.

Thursday: Mini pancakes with syrup, egg and cheese breakfast burrito, peanut butter and jelly bar.

Friday: Sausage biscuit, buttermilk biscuit.

Elementary lunch

Monday: Cheeseburger, barbecue roasted chicken, cheese stick munch n' dip, peas, mac and cheese, gelatin cubes, whole-grain roll.

Tuesday: Popcorn chicken, nachos with cheese sauce, cheese salad, potato smiles, Mexican rice, garden salad, celebration cake.

Wednesday: Italian sub, peanut butter and jelly crustless sandwich, orange juice, carrot sticks, pretzel twists.

Thursday: Corn dog turkey bites, Cuban pork rice bowl, hummus munch n' dip, tater tots, broccoli, mandarin oranges, frozen fruit pop.

Friday: Whole-grain pizza, meatball sub, cold-cut sandwich, corn, raisins, vegetables, gelatin cubes.

Secondary breakfast

Monday: Breakfast stick with syrup, sausage biscuit with potato triangle, cinnamon roll, buttermilk biscuit, peanut butter and jelly bar, blueberry muffin with mozzarella cheese stick, cereal, yogurt with granola.

Tuesday: Egg and cheese breakfast burrito, ham, egg and cheese English muffin with potato triangle, cinnamon roll, peanut butter and jelly bar, banana loaf with mozzarella cheese stick, cereal, yogurt with granola.

Wednesday: Sausage biscuit with potato triangle, cinnamon roll, buttermilk biscuit, peanut butter and jelly bar, blueberry muffin with mozzarella cheese stick, cereal, yogurt with granola.

Thursday: Apple fruit turnover, chicken biscuit with potato triangle, cinnamon roll, buttermilk biscuit, peanut butter and jelly bar, banana loaf with mozzarella cheese stick, cereal, yogurt with granola.

Friday: Breakfast scrambler, sausage biscuit with potato triangle, cinnamon roll, buttermilk biscuit, peanut butter and jelly bar, blueberry muffin with mozzarella cheese stick, cereal, yogurt with granola.

Secondary lunch

Monday: Roasted chicken, chicken supreme, grilled chicken sandwich, pizza sticks with marinara sauce, mac and cheese, green beans, corn bread.

Tuesday: Spaghetti with meatballs, pizza pocket, popcorn chicken, broccoli, blueberry cobbler, garlic Parmesan roll.

Wednesday: Beef and bean burrito, chicken supreme sandwich, cold-cut sandwich, orange juice, peach slices, baked chips.

Thursday: Cuban pork rice bowl, meatball sub, Buffalo chicken strips, peas, baked cinnamon apple slices.

Friday: Nachos with cheese sauce, cheeseburger, pizza sticks with marinara sauce, potato wedges, carrot sticks.

  3. Conviction overturned 30 years later in neo-Nazi murder case

    TAMPA — A judge on Friday overturned the murder conviction of Dean McKee now that new evidence has raised doubt about McKee's guilt in a Tampa slaying that occurred nearly three decades ago when he was 16.

  4. Experts have some theories on who's carrying out Seminole Heights killings

    The words serial killer tend to conjure an image of a middle-aged white man, likely a loner. He stabs or chokes or strangles, murdering up close for the thrill, straight out of central casting.
