Pasco schools holding countywide garage sale Saturday

LAND O'LAKES — The Pasco school district Food and Nutrition Department is holding a garage sale Saturday to raise money for the School Nutrition Association.

The association makes sure that the schools are using local farm products as much as possible, brings farming to the schools, and weighs in on federal guidelines and regulations concerning school meals.

A wide variety of items, including knick knacks, housewares, clothes, holiday items, cookbooks, furniture and snacks, will be for sale. All shoppers are welcome.

The sale will be 9 a.m. to noon in the parking lot of the school district offices, 7227 Land O' Lakes Blvd. Donations will be accepted through Friday.
