LARGO — A Pinellas school bus driver who may have hit a child with her bus has been suspended without pay, pending the outcome of a state hearing. The School Board voted unanimously Tuesday to suspend Belinda Ivey, 40, for the Feb. 4 accident. The child was not seriously injured, but Ivey allegedly drove away and waited 30 minutes to report the incident. Superintendent Mike Grego originally recommended firing Ivey but changed it to a suspension after she requested the hearing.
